2013 Field Trips Announced: Registration now open!
Many of the field trips available for this year's festival are now open for registration. Lots of great organizations and people have joined in to offer lots of options so guests can visit lands where panthers live and do some serious exploring! Read about all the great options and register by clicking on the "Field Trips" option under the "Festival Info" tab on this website. We look forward to seeing you on one of our great adventures: don't forget to register EARLY, as many events will sell out quickly!

May 24th, 2013 Sunday Field Trips This year, we are hosting all of our field trips on Sunday, November 17th, the day after the festival. After the excitement of the festival, enjoy a buggy ride, hike, Jeep ride, or one of our other options! Don't forget to book your trip in advance! More information to come... |
November 5th, 2012 Presentations Come listen to panther biologists speak about their experiences, hear what's happening on ranch lands in panther territory, and take a look at what it's like to hike 1,000 miles through the wild lands of the state of Florida. September 25th, 2012 Field Trip Registration Is Open A big part of the Festival is being able to connect with the local environment. To that aim, we have more fantastic field trips lined up for this year! Head over to the Field Trips page to see what's available. Reservations are required for field trips, so reserve your spot early! |
September 21st, 2012 Live Music The BugTussle Ramblers will be returning this year, joined by another Bluegrass band, The Bean Pickers. They'll be bringing you all some wonderful live music, so come out and give 'em an audience! More information here: Live Performances. |
August 15th, 2012 Presentation Line-Up One of our presentations at the Festival will be given by expert Panther Biologist Mark Lotz with FWC. May 23th, 2012 Critical Wildlife Corridor Protected A large and continuous piece of land critical for wildlife passage and the natural recovery of the Florida panther was purchased and protected by a collaborative public and private partnership in an outstanding effort to accomplish species conservation.
